Information accessed and its purpose

The utility uses Google Drive file identifiers, folder metadata, file sizes, checksums, and the contents of backup files created by or explicitly made available to the application. It uploads archives and reads them back to verify backup integrity and restoration. The authorized account's email address is checked to prevent backups from being sent to the wrong account. Storage quota information is used to check available capacity.

Permission scope

The utility requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. It does not request a permission granting general access to the entire Google Drive account.

Storage and protection

Backup data is stored in the owner's private Google Drive folders and in the owner's controlled local or server working storage. Authorization credentials are encrypted using the Windows user's operating-system protection on the authorization computer and kept in restricted-access configuration on the server. Credentials are excluded from backup archives, source control, and ordinary application logs.

Use and sharing

Google user data is used for account verification, backup, integrity checks, restoration, and related file organization. The utility does not sell that data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial-intelligence models. It does not automatically publish backup contents or grant other people access. Data is transferred to Google Drive as required for the owner's requested backup operation.

Retention and control

The owner controls the retention and deletion of archived backup files. Local historical copies are removed only after the applicable backup verification and protection checks pass. Temporary restoration files are removed after successful verification. The owner may revoke this application's authorization through Google Account connection settings and may delete its backup files in Google Drive. Revoking authorization stops future authenticated operations; it does not itself delete existing archives.
